December 2005

The start of the month was a little depressing as I recounted what I was doing at the same time in 2004 at Disney World.  Great memories which I hope to emulate again sometime in the not too distant future.

Poor Kat spent a lot of the month being ill poor thing.  I hate it when someone is ill, you really want to make them feel better but there is normally absolutely nothing you can do.

DJ Lightning came to visit along with Chris and Sheri early in the month, although we didn't do anything in particular, well except visit Cadbury World which was great, we had a very nice time.  Shame they couldn't stay for longer.

Christmas lunch was ok, went to the Italian place that we went to in the summer.  Like I say it was OK, nothing better nothing worse and despite vowing I wouldn't, I got stuck with the bosses boss and my former boss at my end of the table, just like last year!  Went to a Wetherspoon afterwards and had a nice time.

Tesco gave us a present of 4 bottles of wine and 8 cans of lager we didn't order and didn't have to pay for.  Don't think we have drunk any so far, and very little of the 3 bottles of wine I got as a Christmas present from L&G has been touched, although the sparkling champagne type drink was drunk at New Year and very nice it was too.

Lots of films seen including Narnia, March of the Penguins, Keeping Mum and King Kong.  Made sure I got to see most of the blockbusters.

There was a day when the power would keep dying for a few seconds.  First happened to us when Kat and I were in Chiquitos.  Made doing anything difficut.  Computers would die, the cinema was shut and we couldn't watch DVDs.

Christmas at Kats was great.  We shopped and saw lots of relatives and I messed about with Train Sim more than i would have liked!

New Years was good too, got too see my family who on the whole were nice to see!

Happy 2006!
