June 2003

The start of June seems such a long time ago as I write on the second last day of the month. It has been nearly two months since I was last with Erin. Every moment without Erin is far too long, however progress is slowly being made to get us back together. I'm waiting on a few documents to be ready to mail to the American embassy who will decide my entire future. I have spent far too much time worrying about what will happen as I'm interviewed and what to do when I have a final answer one way or another. One thing that is for sure is that I am completely fed up waiting.

I started a new job as a data inputter on the second of the month. It is far from the IT based type of job that I should be having at this moment in my career, but beggars can't be choosers I guess and I keep telling myself that it isn't for long. In fact the job itself is fine, I turn up I put letters and numbers in a database and then go home again. There is no stress, definitely nothing like I was under at any previous job and the money should keep my head afloat for the time being. It is strange and good at the same time, overall good in the short term and bad if I stay there long term.

The job at the moment is affecting my reading. I have about ten books waiting to be read, but often meet Jo in the mornings and Rob on the way home from work, which means I'm not reading that much. Not that I am complaining, it is nice to get people to speak to, especially as my social life isn't exactly thriving. Less playing badminton and going to the quiz on a Sunday night, I don't see very many people. I'm not complaining about the state of my social life either. It is better than when I was at fprop, when all week I went to work and went to bed and did very little in between. At least now I get to lay around and do nothing for an hour before I get back onto the computer and update the websites.

I'm slowly getting round to doing the updates on the websites that I wanted. I have been working quite a bit on getting the Who owns who website up to date and adding more companies to it. I'd like to work a little more on getting the Erin an Az site off the ground a bit more. I just don't get time. However I'm sure they would drive me mad if it did turn out to be a full time job. At least I am getting a breather from the fantasy football for a few weeks.

Not much else to report without complaining, so I won't go into that side of my thoughts just now, however if I keep getting as many junk phone calls as I am getting just recently, the that may well be different the next time I make an entry!
