Movie 3
Better
than the second one, not as good as the first one. Amusing all the way
through but none of the laugh out loud cry your eyes out moments that the
original had.
The
Day After Tomorrow
The build up to the disaster in this film was great. The special effects
were awesome and had you gripped to the film. I also liked that there was
no magical solution to the crisis like in most other disaster films, Earth just
had t deal with it. There was a storyline that ran after the disaster
struck, a human element that you have to include in these types of films.
Thankfully this wasn't too drawn out and painful and the pace of the film
stopped you getting too bored
Harry
Potter And The Prisoner of Azkaban
Not having read the books more than likely put me at a disadvantage. The
film plodded along telling a story at quite a sedate pace until the story
tellers introduced a time loop element, which was very clever. This set up
a pleasing ending. An enjoyable film where the actors are working together
better than before, but whether you'd be a satisfied fan I have no idea.
Shrek
2
Shrek is arguably my favourite film of all time so I was both looking forward to
this film and worried that the producers may have messed it up completely like
has happened with many films before. I needn't have worried. Shrek 2
was great and I loved every moment of it. The original is the best but
this isn't too far behind. It is necessary to have seen the original to
understand the film I think. The animation is crisp, the humour very funny
and a not too bad story line and with great animation. Make sure you don't
leave the cinema too quickly also!
Incredibles
I saw this film in Disney World, in fact I saw it twice and I'm glad I did as I
was slightly sleep the first time and missed a few things. Wow this is a
good film, would normally make the top of any list of films I've seen but there
have been some real good ones this year!
